2013 National Meeting Theme & Location Announced
As we announced at the 2011 conference, Ridgecrest Baptist Conference Center in North Carolina has been selected for the location of the 2013 National Conference, April 24-27, 2013. Your 2011 – 2013 NASBS Board has met and we have decided upon a theme and scripture for for this event.
The theme is - Rest, Restore, Renew@Ridgecrest
Our main scripture verse for the event comes from Matthew 11:28
“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. (HCSB)
We also have chosen these three other verses that will be focused on during our time together.
Rest in God alone, my soul, for my hope comes from Him. Psalms 62:5 (HCSB)
Restore the joy of Your salvation to me, and give me a willing spirit. Psalms 51:12 (HCSB)
God, create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalms 51:10 (HCSB)
We know that many of you are weary from the day-to-day challenges of ministry and our hope is that you can come away to the wonderful retreat setting, to the mountains of Ridgecrest and that you will find rest, be restored, and be renewed from spending time in bible study, worship, learning though conference sessions, and fellowshipping with others who serve as you do as ministry assistants and secretaries.
We hope that you already marked the dates on your calendar and have begun making plans to attend.
